1英籍男子在泰感染肺炎 尚未确定是否与武汉肺炎有关
据英国《布莱克浦公报》报导，英国32岁的艾希礼·索雷（Ashley Shorley）稍早卖掉其在西约克郡桑顿的房子后，前往泰国旅行。但他在泰国旅行一周后，于12月27日感染某种病毒后，病情迅速恶化。

目前，他被诊断出肺炎和两肺萎缩，并于1月6日被飞机从普吉岛送往曼谷的一家医院医治。手术后，他已不用依靠氧气呼吸。不过，目前尚未证实索雷感染的肺炎是否跟目前关注的武汉肺炎有关。泰国最早于1月8日在武汉至曼谷的航班上检测出首例疑似感染武汉肺炎病毒病例；13日确定第二起，两起都是中国籍人士。
